Another Lehi Lunch

We hit up the Dry Creek course again today during lunch. Btw, if you're looking for a fantastic place to eat, hit up the Jimmy John's sandwich shop in Lehi. It's an awesome place for a quick, delicious sandwich. Today we hit holes 6, 1, 7, 8, and 9. Fun stuff. No one was throwing very well. Probably the best drive all day was Spanky Tex's shot from hole #6. The tee box and the basket are both on small hills, with a marshy middle lying in between, about 270 ft. to the pin. Spanky's tee shot sailed over the marshy crap and nestled on the upside of the hill going towards the pin. Mine, of course, landed right in the middle of the marsh. We'll send more updates as they come.

Roosevelt's Disc Golf Course!

Roosevelt Disc Golf Course

This last weekend I was able to visit my family in Roosevelt Utah, and also play a little D'Golf as well. The course is definitely the hardest and the coolest course I have played yet. You almost have to throw a different type of throw at every hole: hammers, tomahawks, sidearm, etc. One hole is 900 ft.!!! John is the owner of this course and is an amazing player! You can find his info on the web if you desire to play this course. He only asks if you can call him in advance if you are going to come out to play, since none of the holes are marked you will need a guide. He is a doctor, so it is pretty tuff for him to have time to play. I lucked out and was able to play the next day after I called him. I didn't have a camera with me so parden the low quality pictures, I had to use my phone. Next time, I will try to take more pictures, but it's hard to stop and snap a picture when you are having so much fun!!

Lehi Dry Creek Course - Great Lunch!!!

I was recently introduced to the great sport that is disc golf. For you who don't know, this game has been around for a while. It consists of throwing special disc-like Frisbees along a course into a catcher. Pictures of discs, courses and catchers to come! Currently there are several disc golf courses around the nation.

Here in Utah County, there are a few. Today during lunch, we hit the Dry Creek Trail Park course. It's a nice, easy course, just 9 holes, but perfect for a quick couple of holes during lunch. We primarily used a Valkyrie and a Wraith for the tee offs, then a Roc for our approaches, and an Aviar or a Wizard for the putts.

Golf Scores:

Spencer - +1
Micah - +1
Sam - +2

More posts to come, along with reviews of courses we play at, amazing putts/drives, scores, and of course, pictures. Join our Adventure!!!
